Medicine Packing Unit
The refurbishment of a medicines packaging unit for London Ambulance Service. The build out delivered a facility that met stringent home office guidance for the receipt, storage, packaged and onwards distribution of controlled drugs.
Maternity Hospital
Internal and external refurbishment to Glangwili Hospital’s neonatal and maternity unit. The project includes the creation of eight new delivery suites with supporting parent accommodation, expansion of the existing special care baby unit (SCBU), improve clerical and staff offices and improvements to the external facade and roof cladding.
Severn Pathology
A new 5,000sqm, 4 storey, modular building that provides cellular, microbiology, neuropathy and genetic pathology services within Bristol’s Southmead Hospital. The facility comprises of multiple pathology research and testing laboratories, office space and an automated telelift distribution system that is used to transport samples around the pathology laboratories.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Refurbishment and extension to the existing Neonatal facility within the Princess Anne Wing of Bath’s Royal United Hospital. The projects aim was to increase the units capacity to a 21 cot service, provide improved parent accommodation and additional clerical and staff support facilities.
Institute of Life Sciences
New build development of a state of the art medical research building for Swansea University. The building was built in conjunction with a local NHS Health Board and included laboratories, wet rooms, imaging suite (3 tesla high end MRI and high end CT scanner platform), nano Technology centre (including specialist equipment nano probe, ebeam and NMR), classrooms, offices and clean rooms.
Secure Drugs Room
The Secure Drugs Rooms project consisted of the creation of 14 new rooms in existing London Ambulance Stations. These highly specialised secure facilities were designed in accordance with the Misuse of Drugs (Safe Custody) Regulations.
Learning and Research Centre
Extension to the existing Learning and Research building at North Bristol NHS Trusts Southmead site to increase clinical staff training and research facilities in partnership with the University of Bristol. The new extension consists of seminar rooms, ICT suites, research laboratories, office space and a library.
UPS Upgrades
Reconfiguration and installation of 4 new UPS networks across the London Ambulance Service estate. Extensive engagement with the Trust and Managers as the UPS had to be integrated into the critical operation of the NHS Trust.
CT and MRI Scanners
Installation of a CT and MRI Scanner within a temporary facility in the car park of North Bristol NHS Trusts Cossham Hospital. As a parallel activity, the extension of a listed Hospital building to create a permanent home for the scanners.
Training Centre
Construction and relocation of a new training centre for London Ambulance Service. This included extensive communication and engagement with existing users on the relocation of their facility.
