Services Provided : Project Management services including Decant and Move Management

  • The University identified the need for the provision of a facility that would not only attract students to study for the MPharm degree but would provide excellent research facilities too.
  • The new School of Pharmacy has utilised accommodation in five existing buildings, which involved a complex 5-phase programme of decanting and careful move management techniques to ensure that key business functions were kept live and operational within the effected buildings, whilst the refurbishment and modifications were made.  These buildings were:
    • School of Chemistry
    • School of Animal & Microbial Science
    • School of Food Biosciences
    • Microbiology Building
    • The Science and Technology Centre
  • The new School of Pharmacy was successfully opened in September 2006 in time for the first intake of students to commence their degrees in the 2006/2007 Academic Year.
