Provelio Services: Provelio are providing Project Management Services (including Stakeholder Management and Earned Value Analysis) for the stabilisation project, (forming part of English Partnership's Land Stabilisation Programme), working in conjunction with Davis Langdon.

The redundant stone mines are located under the centre of Combe Down, which is located about 3 kilometres south of the City of Bath. The mines comprise a significant complex of shallow underground workings, mined predominantly during the 18th Century to provide dressed stone for the construction of buildings and houses in Bath and the surrounding area. The stablisation is achieved through the placement of foamed concrete to fill the underground voids. This is delivered via a new network of underground access ways known as roadways, constructed utilising a high degree of mining expertise for both survey and access purposes.
